Ahhhh......blueberry picking (click to enlarge to see some of the berries)......LOVE to go berry picking! (I ate some of them last night.....that had been put in the freezer during the summer.....and they were yummy!)
I will be happy when my butterfly bushes are blooming and coax the butterflies back to the yard. There are many varieties of butterflies here in our area and I enjoy sitting on the porch and watching them.
I know once we get past January, February will go quickly and then we will start to have some "springlike" days here.....and I am READY!!!

Thanks for the pics.....I've been ready for Spring since Thanksgiving!
My mouth is watering thinking about those blueberries...yummy! Thank you for reminding me that Spring is just around the corner.
Pat - I fully agree that winter can now depart. Your rain in Del. is about 6 inches of snow over ice in Maine!
Snowing here in New Hampshire...looks so pretty. Happy to see that you are on the mends.
Oooh love the butterfly picture. My Nana went to the Butterfly place on a cruise last week. I wish I had gone. She has a few good pictures, but she saw so many more.
That is a wonderful picture.
I agree wholeheartedly! We need a little springtime.
Thank you for the little burst of spring! I needed that too!
We have been enjoying warmer weather but snow is returning this weekend. I'm so ready for spring too.
Crispy
You have reminded me - I am going to the freezer to pull out some blackberries I picked last summer!!!! I can relate with the weather - we had drizzle and floor to ceiling fog ALL day long yesterday. Today it is clear, finally, but chilly!
Yea, warmer days are surely ahead!
DITTO girlfriend!!
I hope the pictures bring on an early spring for you.
Thanks for that little bit of summer! We all need to be reminded of that during these long, dark and cold days. And thanks for reminding me.... I have some blueberries and strawberries in the freezer. Think I'll make myself a smoothie!
I'm always ready for spring - it is my favorite season. We have had such a warm winter that the Oso Berry bushes are beginning to bud already - they are our first sign of spring, and we drove past a house the other day that had a flowering cherry, already beginning to flower, and pussy willows are popping out. Hopefully this isn't too early for everything and is a sign we are actually getting an early spring for a change. The first year we moved to WA, 2001, it was winter until the first of June -cold, rainy and not a leaf in sight, and we had come here from a wonderful CA spring, so it was a hard year.
Love your pictures.....it is hotter than Haties here.....
Has this seemed like a shorter winter to you? Maybe it is me - but, I don't think it's been too bad! It's all that global warming crap!
I've never had much luck in capturing a photo of a butterfly but you sure did! That's a lovely photo with the butterfly and a pleasant reminder of warm days to come!
Oh Pat I'm so with you. Waiting not so patiently for spring.
I tried to send you some yesterday!! We were in the 70's but back to 62 today. Oh & sunny!
I am ready too. I'm tired of winter. However, we're still looking forward (snort) to three or more months of cold temperatures and *gasp* snow.
It's been fairly nice the past week... but we're not fooled by it. Oh no.
Ditto! I am sick of the snow, slush and cold and yuck!
I like Spring, however not looking forward to summer at all.
