Someone gave me a good idea (or at least I think it's a good idea and she did, too)..........
Remember my Sylvia's Bridal Sampler book (from which I am making some / all of the 140 blocks)??? Here is how it looked when I got it.

Here is how the book looks now......can you see the difference? Yup...it now has a spiral binding. My well-used book took a little trip with me to the local Staples' store. I had them cut off the binding and punch holes and do it as a spiral-bound book. The whole process, including a plastic front and back cover, cost $5.49. (We have no sales tax here in Delaware.....gotta love it!)

And now.....

....when I need to photocopy pages to make several copies of each paper-pieced block to sew them, it is easy to get the pages to lay right in my printer..nice and flat....and they don't distort. I LOVE this idea!!! Since I know this book will need to have pages copied many times for me, it is worth the little bit it cost to get it done.........rather than to keep wasting pages when the copies get distorted (as they did with the original binding). And, no...I don't work for Staples.....but I just wanted to pass this hint along to any of you who might wish to do that with a book from which you copy pattern pages/templates a lot.
