The daughter and hubby got here about 4 p.m. yesterday and I am now relieved of "grandma" duty...even though they will still be here until later today.
I have a LOT to do yet to get the master bath and bedroom ready for the arrival of the packers tomorrow morning at 7....and then the roof demolition starts so the new trusses can start to be set into place. Should be an interesting few weeks ahead here!!!
Gene questioned the flag outside in this photo...it's a Jim Shore flag that my good friend, Linda, gave me for my birthday (along with the matching smaller one). I love it!!! I didn't even know there were Jim Shore flags until she gave them to me.

I like this picture of them. I see you did a good job with the suntan lotion, neither girl looks burned
I kmow you had a great time with the grandkids. Good luck with all the reconstruction.
the picture of the kids is great. I see the "flag" outside. It looks like a quilt, is it?
Kids gone...work begins...will you ever stitch again? LOL
Chatty looks like he's enjoying the attention of the girls LOL. Now for the noisy part of your summer :0(

Just when you should be having some peach and quiet after your two week g-child sitting, you have construction noise and workers (and dirt). Your life is just a never ending cycle of excitement, isn't it?
It must be chaos at your house just now and for a few days at best. At least you will have a nice master suite again when it's done. Maybe you can sit and sew and block out the construction noises.
good eye gene, i didn't even notice the flag, was check out those precious girls
Hurry back, your are going to be sorely missed! Here's a tissue ... enjoy all the construction.

Chatsworth looks great, especially with 2 gorgeous models giving him tons of attention! I hope the reno work goes smoothly although I know it'll be noisy :^0
Sweet picture of the girls! I know you enjoyed their visit.
HI Pat,
I hope that the construction is not too problematic- Before you know it, the house will be all repaired and beautiful too.
I hadn't noticed the flag until Gene pointed it out- it looks like it is a gorgeous flag. People are so observant.
I bet you and the grand kids have had a fantastic time together. They are very pretty girls.
Your dog reminds me of a dog that we used to have. Her name was Venus and she had that same gorgeous carmel colored coat. She was a very layed back dog and we miss her alot.
Hope you get a chance to get back quilting soon.
Regards,
Anna
That is a cute picture...
So there is going to be no rest for you for the next few weeks.....but you will get your house back then.
The girls look like they had a wonderful time - happy and relaxed.
If you want to vent about the house fixing you know my e-mail, girl!
Could you please take a photo of your flag so we can see the entire thing??? Please, please???
Those grandkids are so cute. Hugs..
The kids will be gone, but the house will become a construction site. Oh, well. Will you have any time to sew? Hope so. No, hope sew!
Aren't they absolutely darling. I'm excited to get one of my own in October.
