For my followers who live a reasonable driving distance from Omaha, Nebraska, you should try to attend this big event at AccuQuilt (the home of the wonderful GO and Studio cutters for quilters). They ran a contest and the two top winners will be revealed at this event. The first place winner's quilt will be in a 17 x 17 foot format on the AccuQuilt building and the 2nd place winner's quilt will be in a 6 x 6 foot format. I wish I lived close enough to GO to the event as it promises to be a wonderful day! If you do go, please take photos to show me. (For those of you who can't go, be sure to visit AccuQuilt on Facebook to see the photos they will post there.) I hope to visit them for a tour someday. If you would like to tour their facility when you are in that area, all you need to do is call 888-258-7913 and they will be happy to set a date and time up for you. Folks who have toured the facility absolutely love their time there and enjoy meeting the staff. This company is truly customer-oriented and, from my experience, they bend over backwards to be helpful. I do hope some of you can go there to the Barn Quilt Unveiling. IF you do, be sure to tell them that Pat from Delaware whose blog is called A Little of This and a Little of Pat sent you, okay??? It would sure be fun to go with you to this big event. But unfortunately I can't go either. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing photos of the unveiling and hearing insights. For those that get to go, this will surely be a great party!

Pat, if you ever go out there, pick me up along the way. I may not be a quilter but I LOVE to see quilts. It would be so much fun.
I would love to come but I think that is way too far away. Sounds fun though.
I'll be on the road that day and headed to my friend, Sue's, in Mason City, Iowa. We're planning to visit shops and such but don't think we will get as far as Omaha. :-) Would be cool to see the display, though as a 17 foot quilt is large!
I think I am out of this field trip. Ireland is a bit far away.

I would like their drunkards path die cut, circle and tumbler. I have been wanting to make a tumbler quilt for a long time.

I just looovve the go cutter and the studio cutter too! wish it wasn't so expensive to get them accross to Australia! I don't have one yet but am already a fan on their face book page. My two favourite dies are the 2 1/2" strip cutter and the Quarter-Square-4-Finished-Triangle. To have accurate triangles and strips in a hurry!! I would make a charity quilt of love for the prem and still born babies at our local children's hospital. It's such a hard thing for parents to go home without anything when their child dies - if my quilt could be of any comfort....
