Now.......to tell you about a win and my new blogging friend. I'm not sure exactly how I found Steph's blog (probably was sent there by another blogger) but I was happy to discover it a couple of weeks back and to find that she vacations quite close to me....in Ocean City, MD. We exchanged emails and intend to meet and go to a quilt shop together the next time she is in Ocean City. That will be great fun!

After I discovered her blog, she had a giveaway of an antique doll quilt she has owned for several years. I am always fascinated by antique quilts but don't own any. What better way to start than to win an antique doll quilt? AND.....guess what? I did win it!!! It arrived in yesterday's mail and I have two photos of it below. If you click on the photos, you will see some of it was done by hand (some by machine) but it is obvious it was well-loved and used. That gives it a really special charm, in my eyes.
