Update of previous post.....

My daughter has told me that Jessi is out of surgery and doing fine. (Once when she had general anesthesia as a younger child for ear tubes, and she had trouble coming out from anesthesia then, so I guess she did better this time.) She should be able to go home from the hospital's same-day surgery center before the morning is over. Thanks for all the prayers and kind comments as well as the emails that were sent to me from some of you. The comprehensive pathology report won't be back for a week or so, as I understand it. I just hope Jessi isn't too uncomfy with stitches on her back, under her armpit and on her upper thigh (which is where the 3 moles were located).

Prayers coming your way Pat for that grandaughter of yours. It's always scary for anyone to undergo surgery let alone a little one.

It is so hard to see a little one of our own having to have surgery. Our great grandson (2) has had three surgeries so far in his short life. He is sweet and lively but still is needing this medical help. I sit by the phone each time waiting to hear that he is doing well. Bless you and yours.

So glad to hear that Jessi is doing well. How scary to have our little ones having problems. We had a growth removed from our son's upper lip -- when I arrived at 6 for a 7 am surgery, the hospital told me that I would have to wait until regular visiting hours to see him. I told them that they better start cancelling the surgery, because my young son was NOT going into surgery until I had seen him. Finally they relented. What we thought was just something simple turned out to be a tumor. Soooo glad we had it removed!
