Now...today there was some exciting news. I have two blocks among the 100 finalists in the AccuQuilt Barn Contest. There are many wonderful blocks among those 100 (although, I have to admit that I feel some are a bit too "busy" to be looking good on the side of a building!) I'll put the link below and if you could go look at my two (Pat C is the name under them) and vote for one of them, I'd be very happy. One of them seems to have a good number of votes so far and that is my favorite of the two. I'm actually surprised they chose those two as they are the same block with just a color variation and I had submitted about 8 different blocks besides those 2. Anyway....if you'd be so inclined, I'd love to have your vote (and maybe you could get your friends to vote, too?) The voting closes on April 19 and the winner will be announced at the Paducah quilt show. I'm sure it's a long shot that I could win, because many of the blocks have lots of votes already, but......who knows what could happen in a week!

I voted, good luck. Maybe someday I will have a GO and then can participate, too. I didn't see your earlier post but I will miss your posts if you are cutting back. I post 1-2 times a week and, except for Design Wall Monday, I don't feel obligated to post unless I have something to say. Don't be a stranger.
