Fun times.....

Taking a break from posts about the recent vacation as the granddaughter is here for part of her Easter break week.  We have been busy making a small wall-hanging for her room. She did all the cutting on the GO! cutter and also did the sewing (with my close guidance).  Look how proud she is of it so far.....not too much more to go to finish it!  I think this one might be into design and sewing someday....YAY!!!

What a beautiful piece, Pat. Look at that precious proud smile. Enjoy her.

My kid-ling wanted to sew while she was here on spring break & she did it by hand, what fun to watch her.

Have a great day ~

Pat this is terrific. She is doing a great job and you are instilling in her both a useful skill AND a higher self esteem.
Both your g'daughter and the block are just lovely.

She does look very proud and she should be, as her block looks wonderful! That's not an easy block to start with.

Hi Pat, your grand-daughter is so cute! I think you have a future quilter on your hands. :) She will never forget those happy days sewing with you. What a precious gift you are giving her of your love, time, attention and skill! I have two nieces that I am very close to that dive straight into my yarn stash the moment they arrive at the house. It is so cute. They can barely hold a crochet hook, but they love for me to show them. The ten year old just knitted a little pillow for my husband and sent it to him in the mail. It is the sweetest little pink pillow and she was so proud of it, as is my husband who brings it out to show everyone who comes to visit! :) Have a great day Pat! With Love, Delisa :)
